Nick Blocha
Little dots of blue and red, dark and light, make up my vision of the perceivable universe.
Clouds soar by, grand and far overhead.
Scaled in rows, broken and split so revelations are spoken in their hues, shades, and shadows.
Rich-blue waters-down behind purpled greys, silhouetted against the horizon’s fiery sunset.
How vast and ethereal they are.
Transformative, with so much to say.
We are amiss when they are mad, so too when they are gone.
Those of us who ruminate within our own souls can often be found in sight of the clouds, listening to all the wisdom they may share.
Their haze colors this land under the great, big dome of the sky.
Over the corn field lined with rows of white snow, a turbine is still to be seen through this fog, spinning by the self-same wind which carries the turbulent white above.
