The Resilient Iowa Communities host sites are a part of our Energy & Community Branch. Members that serve at these sites work alongside their host sites, usually city governments, to assist with furthering the goals of their community's climate action network. These members provide boots on the ground support for education, outreach, data collection, and community engagement surrounding the unique priorities and goals of the community alongside the mission of the Green Iowa AmeriCorps/RIC programs.

In partnership with government officials and community partners, members have the unique opportunity to learn more and assist with the creation of climate action plans and greenhouse gas inventories, along with helping to connect local businesses with energy efficiency services.
